I've been perusing the Japanese Amazon.com (Amazon.co.jp), and have come across two Nintendo DS games based on Ouran High School Host Club & Vampire Knight, two mangas/animes I enjoy.
My reaction? WHOA! They make these things??? Awesome. But now I want them. And I can't have them. Unless I learn Japanese all of a sudden. . . . Which takes a lot of effort!!! Oh, well. I can still admire from afar.
I've recently been on my PS3 a lot lately, and logged onto the PSN and HOME. I've downloaded some demos, and among them was FINAL FANTASY's CRYSTAL DEFENDERS R1. My opinion is that it's just plain adorable. Simple, yes, but still quite charming. Others have disagreed, but we all have our seperate opinions. I'm not sure I'd pay 10 dollars for it, but 3. . . . Yes, I think I would. :)
On HOME, I've been approached by a few male avatars lmao. It's pretty awkward, but not so bad. It's not all too difficult to brush off unwanted attentions. The graphics are pretty good for a free online game/simulator, and I played it for an hour or so. I even took pictures.
My sister and I have been enjoying some SEGA classics: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Streets of Rage 3. Both are fun, old-school games we can play together. The co-op gameplay combined with the hilarity of watching our characters grab each other on-screen while we call each others' characters pet names like "Babycakes" is fairly amusing (maybe you can imagine).
Have you seen those STAR TREK esurance commercials? Oooh, I love the animation of the esurance girl. Haha, I can't explain it, but it's true. The movie itself looks all right. . . .I'd go see it if I absolutely had to go to the theater, but I wouldn't rush out to see the movie by itself.
WHITE KNIGHT CHRONICLES. Looks so promising. I wonder when it will be released for the PS3 in English? It's out in Japan, but it would cost me at least 30 dollars to import it, and wouldn't be worth it--I wouldn't understand 80% of it, haha. Looking forward to it, though.
Helped my sister with a project this weekend. The results of which were slightly ridiculous. . . .but she'll get a pretty good grade.
I celebrated my younger cousins' first communion today. The weather didn't hold out (rain-pools, anyone?), but it was very enjoyable. I spent a lot of time with my family and their family's family. . . .All very pleasant. Oh, and there was cake.
I felt energized until I came home. Then I crashed, LMAO. Body/Sugar-wise.
ALL RIGHT! Off to bed with me now. I've got stuff to do tomorrow! <3
